Question –
What is the
difference between Digital and Analog Dimming?
Answer –
NEPTUN Light
Analog Dimmable Lamps can be used with ANY dimmer on the
market made after 1995, simply remove your incandescent or halogen
lamp and install our analog dimmable CFL. Digital Dimmables work
with our Digital Dimmer only, however this is very precise dimming
and will be perfect for commercial applications such as restaurants,
lounges, banquet halls, and even lecture halls at universities.
Using the wall switch or a remote, the user simply hits a button on
the switch/remote and all the lights on that circuit go from 100% to
80% exactly. Hitting the button again brings the light from 80% to
60% and so on down to 20%. Hitting the button again at 20% brings
them back to 100%.
Question –
How does one get
Mater Distributor pricing?
Answer –
A one time order
of more than 10,000 pieces of one item elevates that particular
distributor/customer to a Master Distributor. Subsequent orders do
not have to be of 10,000 pieces to maintain Master Distributor
status; however status is subject to review if orders reduce
drastically over a six month period.
Question –
Is there a quality
and/or supply issue due to the fact that NEPTUN Light manufactures
in China?
Answer –
NEPTUN Light has
full ownership and full control of the “NEPTUN China” manufacturing
facility in Shenzhen allowing us the ability to ensure the highest
level of quality and consistency in our products. Furthermore, we
warehouse our entire inventory here in Chicago, IL so all orders can
be filled in a timely fashion.
Question –
Why are some of
the products in the catalogue not Energy Star Certified?
Answer –
We had over 20
models of CFL’s Energy Star Certified in the first phase. We felt as
though these would initially be our best sellers, and are now in the
process of certifying most of the remaining products as the market
demands.
Question – How large does an
order have to be for NEPTUN Light to pay the shipping?
Answer –
NEPTUN Light will
pay the shipping on any order of more than $1,500.00. The order does not
have to be $1,500.00 worth of one model number, but can be any
combination of products totaling $1,500.00 in one order.
Question –
Does NEPTUN plan
on expanding its product line?
Answer
– In addition to
expanding our line of fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps,
NEPTUN Light will soon begin manufacturing full lines of commercial
and residential fixtures, commercial and industrial ballasts,
automated lighting control systems and LED lamps.
Question
– Is NEPTUN Light
willing to private label any of its products for retailers or
distributors?
Answer
– We are prepared
to private label and package any of our products when the
opportunity presents itself, however NEPTUN Light reserves the right
to deny these opportunities if we feel that private labeling for a
particular company could in the long run be detrimental to the
NEPTUN Brand or to our family of Independent Reps.
Question
– What are the
terms of ordering and payment?
Answer
– All orders
should be placed by the customer directly to NEPTUN Light as the
vendor and not to the Rep. Payment is expected no later than thirty
days after delivery, with approved credit. 7% commission will be
paid to the rep on the 15th day of the following month after receipt
of payment from the customer.
Question
– Why is NEPTUN
Light’s price on 54W T5-HO lamps so far below that of it’s
competition?
Answer
– 54W T5-HO Lamps
are actually rather easy to manufacture and NEPTUN Light does not
have the overhead that companies like G.E. and Philips have, which
allows us to sell all of our quality products at competitive prices.
Question
– Why did NEPTUN
Light hire guitar legend Jeff Beck to be Director of Sales?
Answer –
Unfortunately Jeff
is not actually the Jeff Beck that once played guitar with the likes
of Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, but was brought into this world by
two very big fans of the Yardbirds. And due to the fact that our
Jeff Beck is not “the” Jeff Beck, he is available to answer your
questions either at our office during normal business hours, Central
Standard Time or on his cell phone days, nights, or weekends. |
