NEPTUN PROUDLY ANNOUNCES CFL-PAR PATENT
May 30, 2006

NEPTUN LIGHT is proud to announce that our patent application titled "Energy Efficient Compact Fluorescent Lamp" (US Serial No. 10/726,143) issued as U.S. Patent No. 7,053,540 on May 30, 2006. The patent claims an energy efficient fluorescent reflector lamp including a fluorescent light source enclosed in a reflector with a defined cavity and circumferential rim defining a light emitting opening, and a circumferential flange at a mating opening. The fluorescent reflector lamp has luminous efficacy which exceeds that of corresponding halogen reflector lamps while having an overall outline fitting substantially within the ANSI specified outline for PAR lamps.
